Score of the third game of the three game series was 4-3. (Wassink photo) TOURNAMENT WINNERS—The Brussels slow pitch league held their annual tournament, Sunday, September 12, with eight teams participating. The men's trophy was won by the Brussels Inn team, winning over Brussels Motors In their final game. The score was 17-7. Peggy Cudmore spoke on the 8th anniversary of the Institute held at the Constel- lation Hotel in Toronto, Aug- ust 12. Conveners, Alice McArter and Jean Bell, introduced the guest speaker, Bev Brown, Miss Brown spoke on agricul- ture in her life in the past 12 years since moving to this community from Toronto. Alice Brothers and Freida Pipe played a lively duet on the piano. Alice McArter spoke on industries in the area --one being Royal Homes in Wing - ham which •began in 1971. Alice also mentioned that all of the County road signs are made in Wroxeter. There' are 3000 to 4000 road signs in the county.
