A lunch of homemade Nuns with cheese made by the 4-H girls and leaders brought the meeting to a close. There will be slides and a commentary on the Sudan by Mrs. Gordon McBurney. Lunch is the responsibility of Mrs. Carl Johnston and Mrs. Robert Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bailey of Oak Lake. The Brussels Legion and Optimist Club are having bingo every other Wed, eve- ning. 1 might be too late with this paper for the bingo on the 25th, but the neiit will be two weeks later, Sept. 8. There will be a corn roast at the conservation park in Brussels on Aug. 29, at one o'clock p.m'. and we hope to see a lot of the Legion members and their family's, m young and old.
