Sponsored by Suzuki Canada Incorporated, the national'crown� In each, race was awarded to riders with the highest standing. •Riders said the track was in perfect condition, some said the best they had fiver seen. Even with perfect conditions, spills and thrills were prevaient during the two day event with some riders eliminated from further competition due to fractures and sprains. The above photo sequences taken within a one second frame, shows rider 995 lose control of his bike at the double jump. The second photo'shows the rider sliding on the track slowing to a halt in the third photo. Speed of the rider was estimated,at 40 miles per hour.
