Payroll Associate

Hensall District Co-operative is a progressive co-operative in its 77th year of business and
continues to grow. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral part of
our Accounting Team at the Hensall location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Setup of new employees and issuing time/attendance access codes.
• Collecting, organizing and tabulating employee hours.
• Calculating and ensuring accuracy for commission employees.
• Balancing a bi-weekly hourly payroll.
• Assist and train supervisors on accessing employee related time/attendance
information.
• Assist in training and monitoring payroll schedules and creating new templates when
applicable.
• Assist in distribution of payroll slips and issuing ROE information slips
• Accounting functions as required.
Job Requirements:
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Above average accounting and payroll skills
• Self -motivated individual
• Must be discrete
Qualifications:
• Post -secondary diploma/degree in Accounting/Payroll
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar position
• Payroll Management Certification Program considered a definite asset

The Records Clerk provides skilled administrative, secretarial and record keeping services of a
complex nature. Duties include but are not limited to cemetery administration, records/retention
management, website updates, social media, assist with preparation and distribution of agendas,
reports bylaws etc.
Qualifications: Business Administration Diploma, proficient typing and computer skills, Microsoft
Office, Excel, Powerpoint. Municipal knowledge, AMCT Municipal Administration Program,
experience in records management (TOMRMS), iCompass an asset.

opening available at our Hensall facility in our Grain Marketing Department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain active knowledge of freight, cash and deferred basis and CBOT market trends.
• Producer cash outs / producer interaction developing and maintaining relationships.
• Liaison with producers in regards to on farm storage & end users of soybeans, soymeal
& wheat.
• Assist with food grade soybean origination in trading area as required.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of all producer and end user business.
• Receiving daily calls for pricing and settlements.
• Responsible for maintaining grain marketing updates.
Job Requirements:
• Good negotiation skills / pleasant demeanor.
• Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would possess the following:
• Two years' experience in grain trading and risk management.
• Minimum one year experience providing customer service.
• Experience with computer applications such as MS Office, Outlook, etc.
