Rommert and Marieke Steenbeek DANNENBERG/STEVENSON We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone for the overwhelming support, kindness and sympathy shown to us in the passing of Otto. Thank you for the emails, visits, phone calls, floral tributes, sympathy cards, food, and generous memorial donations received during this time. A special thank you to Dr. Sumar and the staff at Huronview for the care and compassion you gave Otto and me during his short stay. We sincerely thank Rev. Randy Covey for helping to make the service for Otto very special and one we will never forget. Also, a very special thank you to the Clinton UCW who prepared the lunch while short-staffed and for more than expected, as well as to the Auxiliary to the Clinton Public Hospital for their understanding and working hand in hand with the UCW on their busiest day of the year. Thanks also to Marilyn, June and Ann for helping out at the service. You have no idea how much we appreciate your thoughtfulness. From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely appreciate all that was done to help us celebrate the life of a very special, gentle and kind husband, step -father and step -grandfather. Dianne Stevenson & Family Cards of Thanks Cards of Thanks Cards of Thanks PRYCE It is so difficult to put into words how much not only this community but all the surrounding communities have meant to us. The support given to Rebecca and our family has been nothing short of overwhelming. The prayers, financial, emotional and mental support as well as food, has absolutely left us speechless. Kathy Rivett, you have been our angel since Rebecca's diagnosis. As fieLew.da leacher you gave up your-burilmer holidays to plan, organize and carry out the fundraisers. That was not an easy task as the work involved was not only the planning but also the driving to pick up the many prizes and the time spent organizing a wonderful golf tournament which just kept growing. The donated prizes from so many businesses and people were amazing and very much appreciated. During all this time you were also there for Rebecca (as well as the rest of our family). You make her smile and to see her smile, made us smile. Legion members, you gave us your time as well as the Legion hall and food. The BBQ was so well organized. It could not have been done without you. You are all volunteers who are so willing to give support and help to so many causes. Seaforth should be very proud of their Legion. Thank you to the Seaforth golf club for hosting the benefit golf tournament. It was a wonderful day and the weather co-operated perfectly. The participants all looked amazing!! We want to thank all the volunteers who gave their time for both of these events as well as food for the BBQ. It was because of each and every one of you both fundraisers were a huge success. All of Rebecca's coaches, teammates as well as their parents have worked very hard showing their support by "Rallying for Rebecca" as well as her classmates, friends and parents from school having fundraisers of their own. Becky Janmaat's ice cream sales and some businesses having their own fundraisers for Rebecca are also very much appreciated. Other sports teams (besides Rebecca's) gave their support as well. Thank you to Katie Johnston for setting up the "go fund me" page on Facebook. We could not begin to list everyone who donated prizes, money, food and time and for prayers and gifts for Rebecca, but we want to thank each and every one of you for everything. It is truly astounding what the communities have done to show their support and be there for us in so many ways during a very difficult time. To say thank you seems so inadequate, but we want everyone to know it all has been very much appreciated and will never be forgotten.
