Radars' Ryan Murphy scores big Annual crokinole
tournament a success
(1)11 Oct. 30 Ryan
Murphy of the
Clinton Radars put on a
scoring binge for the ages as
he dented the twine six
times.
That's right, a double hat
trick, leading the first place
Radars to a 14-2 convincing
win over the Tillsonburg
Thunder.
With Tillsonburg only
showing up with 12 skaters
the Radars players were able
to fatten their scoring aver-
ages. There was no lightening
but there was a lot of thunder
as the locals coasted to the
win.
Also having a big game was
Sean Consitt as he collected
seven assists. His playmaking
skills were quite evident in
this lopsided tilt. Consitt's
other line mate, Luke Vick got
into the scoring act too as he
bagged one goal to go along
with five assists to complete a
six point night.
The trio of Murphy, Consitt
Joey's Corner
Joe Livermore
and Vick were able to rack up
20 points as a line. That will
be a record that will be tough
to beat as the team moves
forward.
Clinton's other high scor-
ing line of Tyler Doig, Kurtis
Bartliff and Mitch Vander-
gunst rang up 13 points.
Bartliff scored two goals and
two assists, Doig has two
goals and four assists and
Vandergunst has two goals
and one helper.
Other point getters were
Shayne McClure with two
assists, Jordan Currie with a
goal and an assist and Kyle
Provily with one helper.

Assistant captain, Luke Vick, scored one goal and had five assists
in the Radars' Oct. 30 game against Tillsonburg. Vick and his
line mates, Ryan Murphy and Sean Consitt, racked up 20 points
combined. The end score was 14-2.
The Radars defense core of
Taylor Gossett, Kyle Provily,
Jordan Currie and Brendan
Dale played strong games in
front of goaltenders Marc
Nother and Richard Lynden.
The Radars had 48 shots on
goal while Tillsonburg man-
aged 22 shots.
The referees only handed
out four penalties in the con-
test, two to each team.
