On Oct. 21 Clinton Horticultural Society president Michael
Falconer presented a Horticulural Service Certificate to Karen
Tait in recognition of the years of service she has given. Tait has
been involved with the junior gardeners, treasurer, president,
membership, flower show convenor and yearbook since 1983/
She has also contributed many hours at Sloman Park helping
to maintain the flower gardens there. Congratulations Karen!

UNIVERSITY INFORMATION PROGRAM
Ontario's 21 universities are coming to
Central Huron Secondary School
165 Princes Street, Clinton
Representatives from all Ontario universities
will be in Clinton at CHSS on Wednesday,
November 4th, 2015 from 6:OOpm-8:30pm. This
is an opportunity for students and parents to
speak in person with representatives from the
universities.

The two men behind the award-
winning Du0 Percussion musical
team, Brennan Connolly and Dave
Robilliard, made a stop in Clinton on
Oct. 28. They performed for music
and specialist high skills major arts
and culture students at St. Anne's.
The group was founded in 2008 and
attends schools throughout the region
performing and offering workshops.

NWMO Learn More Centre
The Municipality of Central Huron is one of several
communities in the early stages of learning about Adaptive
Phased Management (APM), Canada's plan for the safe,
long-term management of used nuclear fuel. The Nuclear
Waste Management Organization is working collaboratively
with the community to advance preliminary assessment
studies.
If you would like to learn about APM, meet NWMO staff,
ask questions or offer your thoughts, please drop in to the
NWMO community office and Learn More Centre in Clinton.
