Our hearts stay broken, no words spoken
Taken sudden without warning
It was your time to use your wings and start to fly
Empty thoughts is what we feel of
how we lost our big bro this day
Your family torn with absent yet, that question
lingers oh why, please not yet
Life has chosen to be unfair,
this difficult time we have to bear
The strength and courage you always shared,
has gotten us through this dusty trail
A place in heaven is where you are
So thumbs up to you, Jer Bear
We look above and see that sky and notice
that twinkle you have within your eye
It takes our breath and lets us know that
you are watching from above and afar
You're in our thoughts and always are,
can hardly believe we have gotten thus far
The Big Guy said its time to go
so spread your wings my son, go fly and soar
