Ready for some local food?
The farmer's market kicked off
its third season last Wednesday
at Library Parkin Clinton.
Sandy Garnet warned people
to dress up for the cold weather
during the Grand Opening of the
Clinton & Central Huron BIA
Farmer's Market.
The market runs each
Wednesday from 2-6 p.m. until
the end of September beside
town hall.
It features a variety of vendors
from the areas, but the focus is
on local food, said Garnet. As
the season goes on more ven-
dors will come out as produce
becomes available, she added.
Rosemary Edward, owner of
Made in Huron, participated in
the farmer's market last year as
well. She said she got a lot of
business from the first year and
that brought her back again.
Edward sells jams, jellies,
pickles and baked goods, which

she can't seem to make enough
- it sells out every time.
