Huronview seeking volunteers

Huronview Home for the
Aged is seeking volunteers to
join its dedicated team.
Huronview has been a
home for seniors for 22
years. The building has 120
long-term care beds and is
located just south of Clinton
on Highway 4.
Volunteers are needed as
additions to the activation
team. There are a wide variety
of activities that people can
volunteer to do. Baking, serv-
ing, flower arranging, fund-
raising, helping at weekly cafe
nights and one-to-one visiting
are just some of the things that
current volunteers do.
Volunteers are integral
part when the activation
team takes residents on out-
ings. The more volunteers
means that more residents
are able to go on the outings.
The Mother's Day tea is an
annual event put on at
Huronview. Volunteers help
organize and serve at the tea.
It is a good example of why
volunteers are needed
because the tea wouldn't run
without them.
The Huronview Auxiliary
has 15 members. The group
meets on the fourth Monday
of each month from 10 to 11
a.m. If you are interested in
volunteering you can attend
one of those meetings or call
