Huron County residents can get online help with five common workplace eating challenges: rushed mornings, lunchtime, meetings and events, the mid-day slump and com- muter cravings. "Research shows 45% of Canadians find it a chal- lenge to eat healthy meals and snacks at work," says Public Health Dietitian Scholastica Madu. "The Eating 9 to 5! campaign gives you healthy eating tips, recipes and practical solutions to your healthy eating questions." Madu has many tips for the five common challenges. To beat the mid-day slump, for example, you can: • Get physical by standing up to take phone calls or do some stretches • Grab a small, healthy snack to fuel your brain and give you energy. • Drink some water, since staying hydrated helps get rid of that sleepy feeling.
