Obituaries Obituaries THOMPSON, Marjorie (Straight) - Peacefully at Huronview Home, Clinton on Monday May 25, 2015 with her family by her side, Marjorie (Straight) Thompson of Clinton in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Dave Buchanan (1965) and the late Elgin Thompson (1991). Survived by her step children Lorne & Lila Thompson of Clinton and Barbara Armsted. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Albert & Phoebi Straight, step children Gordon Thompson and Jimmy Buchanan, sisters Greta (Cecil) Mason, Ethel (Scott) Barker, Verna (Harry) Miller and brother Albert (Beatrice) Straight. Visitation was held at the FALCONER FUNERAL HOMES, Clinton Chapel 153 High St. Clinton on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Thursday May 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation commencing at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Charles Gingerich officiated. Interment, Baird's Cemetery. Donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Your kindness and generosity is over- whelming. Thank you to the gals that sat by my side the week before mom's passing; your support was a great comfort. We are truly blessed to live in such a wonderful community with fabulous people surrounding us.
