This started with a delicious Turkey Dinner with all the trim- mings. Thanks to Dorothy and Fred McGregor and their helpers. Cards followed and results are as follows high man was Jim Broadfoot, low man John McKenzie. Ladies high was Donna Smale and lowladywas Mona Alderdice and most lone hands went to Flo Symons. Draws were won by Fred MacGregor, June Thomas, Ethel Walker, Janet Webster and Joan Van Slighenhorst. Thanks to Gerald Rathwell for his dona- tion for door prizes. Brucefield Community United Church on SundayWor- ship Leader was Brian Hymers from the Dungannon Charge and Colin Snyder was in Dun- gannon. Greeters were Jack and Geraldine Eckel, and reader was Dorothy MacGregor. Birth- day wishes were extended to Mona Stephenson. She will be 85 years young on June 1 and her great grandson Nash Rath - well will also be celebrating his birthday. Sympathy was extended to Stu and Joyce Wilson on the passing of their son-in-law. Thoughts and prayers will be with Stu and Joyce and their family. Worship committee will meet June 8 at 7 p.m. The stew- ardswill also meet June 8 at7:30 p.m. BBUC Council meeting will be June 9 at 7:30 p.m. Don't forget the best break- fast around at Brucefield Fire Hall June 6 from 7 a.m. to noon. Camp Menesetung open house is June 14. Activities for youth from 3-5 p.m. and a spa- ghetti -salad supper from 5-7 p.m. Adults $9 and children 5-10 are $4. Progressive farm safety day is coming up on July 7 so mark your calendar. This is the third year of doing this for the chil- dren in our community. The age range for children is seven to 12. They are looking for vol- unteers for group leaders, regis- tration, lunch and a photogra- pher. They also require adult volunteers to help fit kids with bike helmets.
