In these positions he gave the very neat of satisfaction and was highly respelled by a large circle of friends. Owing 0 failing health he re- signed those posi ions and has since been living retired, ter. McGuire could tell many an interest :ng story of the early history of Wing am and the writer has on more than one occasion received' much information from him in regard to the events of ! the earlyy days. Ile is survived by his widow and two sons, Mr, J. E. Mcw'aire of the Bank of Hamilton and Mr. F. W. McGuire, of Winnipeg.
