The family of the late John Moffat would like
to thank everyone for their love and support
during the recent loss of our dear husband
and father. Heartfelt thanks to all who sent
flowers, memorial donations, cards and
food. Special thanks to Dr. Anna Smith,
C.C.A.C., St Elizabeth and One Care for
your compassionate care. Thanks also to
Chris Smith and staff at the Falconer Fu-
neral Home for your helpful assistance. Our

FLEISCHAUER, Johanna - Peacefully with family by her side,
at Clinton Public Hospital on Monday July 6, 2015 Mrs. Jenny
(Kester) Fleischauer of Clinton in her 59th year. Beloved wife for 30
years of Dennis Fleischauer. Wonderful mother of Laura & Jeffery
Ott of Mount Forest, Michael Fleischauer of Cold Lake Alberta, and
Allan Fleischauer of Clinton. Loved grandma of Colby McNamara -
Ott. Cherished daughter of Mary Kester of Dashwood. Dear sister
of Tilly & Robert Anderson of Londesborough, Dorothy Kester of
Dashwood, Arnold & Karen Kester of Dashwood, Joe Kester of
Belle River, Tony & Theresa Kester of Dashwood, John Kester &
Lori Davis of Carp, Andy Kester & Val Anderson of Guelph, Leo &
Christine Kester of Greely, Tom Kester & Christine Vieceli of
Ottawa, Gerald Kester of London, and Jim Kester of Dashwood.
Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her
father Adrian Kester, father and mother in law William (Bill) & Ruby
Fleischauer, and brothers in law Doug Fleischauer and Mark
Hartman. Friends were received at the FALCONER FUNERAL
HOMES, 153 High St., Clinton, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy was held at St. Anne's Catholic Secondary School
353 Ontario Street, Clinton, on Monday July 13, 2015 at 11 a.m.
Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy memorial
donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or the London
Regional Cancer Program (cheques made payable to London
Health Sciences Foundation) would be appreciated. Messages of

RATHWELL, Arnold - Arnold Thompson
Rathwell, age 94 of Stratford, passed away
peacefully at Sakura House on Wednesday,
July 8, 2015. He was born in Clinton,
Ontario April 16, 1921, son of the late
Benjamin Rathwell and the former Mary
Ann Ackersviller. Beloved husband of the
late Verna (Hugill) who predeceased him
October 31, 2011. Loving father of Kathleen
(David) Beynon, Keith (Peg), Mary Joyce
(Charles) Beehler. Grandfather of Peter
Beynon (Michelle), Julie Beynon (Wael
Elazab), Kevin Rathwell (Jodi), Karalee
Broderick (AJ), Kyle Rathwell (Karolina),
Derek Beehler (Kate), Jan Young (Luke)
and Jeff Beehler (Susie). Great grandfather
of 17 great grandchildren. Also survived by
a many nieces and nephews and their
families and a sister-in-law Lois Hugill.
Arnold was the last surviving member of his
family having been predeceased by siblings
Muriel Grigg (John), Dorothy Ostrom
(John), Gordon (Helen), Edgar (Helen),
D'Arcy (Madeleine), Tom (Willa), Marjorie
Stirling (Bob), Eleanor McAsh (Bill), Bob
(Mary) and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-
law Clarence Hugill (Bernice), Elmer Hugill
(Ettie), Harold Hugill (Doris), Bill Hugill
(Nora), Pearl Cummings (Frank), Wes
Hugill (Alice), lona Carr (Reg), Mary Horner
(Gordon), and Cliff Hugill. Arnold and Verna
farmed in Huron County for 15 years before
moving to Kitchener in 1956 where he
worked at Weston Bakeries for 18 years.
They later moved to Port Elgin where
Arnold drove the Shift Bus from Port Elgin
to the Bruce Power Plant for 11 years until
retiring to Brunner in 1986 and then to
Stratford in 2001. Arnold was a member of
St. Paul's United Church, Milverton. Friends
and relatives called at the W.G. YOUNG
FUNERAL HOME, 430 Huron Street,
Stratford on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from
7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the
funeral home on Friday, July 10, 2015 at
11:00 a.m. with a reception that follow. A
private family interment took place at
Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions
of sympathy, memorial donations may be
made to the Stratford General Hospital, the
Canadian Cancer Society, Sakura House or
to the Memorial Fund of St. Paul's United
Church, Milverton. Many thanks to Dr. Mark
Wilkinson, the staff of River Gardens
Retirement Residence, the staff of Sakura
House and to Rev. Krista Vandersar for
their help and care for Arnold.

SCOTT, Rob - Passed away suddenly at
his home on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Born
on August 21, 1940, William Robert Scott of
Seaforth was in his 75th year. Loving
brother of Jean Taylor and her husband
Arnold and Marguerite Gross, all of
Goderich. Rob will also be missed by his
nieces and nephews, Larry Gross of
Wingham, Denise Rose (Jason) of London,
Ron Taylor of Wiarton, Don Taylor (Dianna)
of Ilderton, Nancy Fallico (Ben) of Oakville,
and great-nieces, Sarah Taylor and Talia
and Sophia Fallico. Predeceased by his
parents Robert "Mac" and Helen (nee
Beattie) Scott, and brothers-in-law Ron
Gross and Harvey Bogie. Cremation has
taken place and a private graveside service
will be held in Brussels Cemetery at a later
date. As expressions of sympathy,
memorial donations to Northside United
Church or the Canadian Cancer Society
would be appreciated and can be made
