LUKE ROBERT FRANCIS PELSS
Mike and Naomi Pelss(Duddy) are thrilled
to announce the arrival of Luke Robert
Francis Pelss. Luke was born at 12:23 am
on June 4, 2015 at Stratford Hospital
weighing 7 lbs 9 oz. He is a little brother for
Grace, John and Nathan and a new grand-
son for John and Moranne Duddy, Penny
McLarty, and the late Ed Pelss.

The family of the late Margaret Cole would
like to thank everyone for support and kind-
ness during the recent loss of our Mother.
We appreciate friends and family who sent
flowers, memorial donations, cards, food
and email condolences. Special thanks to
Dr. Hay, Dr. Sumar and nurses and staff of
Huronview for all the care they provided.
We also appreciated the wonderful eulogy
by Rev. Randy Covey and to our soloist
Bette Jewitt and the beautiful songs she
sang. Also to Meredith and Carolyn for their
readings and the organist Cathie Potter. We
also want to thank Christopher Smith and
staff of the Falconer Funeral Home for their
care and compassion. We are most grateful
for the lovely lunch provided by the Clinton
United Church and the U.C.W. ladies. We
sincerely appreciate and will remember

Fraser McMahon would like to express our
heartfelt thanks to family, friends and
neighbours for the love and support shown
to us at this difficult time. The expressions
of sympathy in the form of messages,

great seeing a lot of you at the Celebration
of Life on June 30th. The many acts of
kindness and condolences are deeply

McMAHON, John "Patrick" - It is with
great sorrow the family of John "Patrick"
McMahon announces his passing on
Saturday June 27, 2015 in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Joy
McMahon. Loving father of Tom & Marilyn
McMahon of Bayfield, Rob & Linda
McMahon of London, John & Sharon
McMahon of Clinton, Joe McMahon of
Vancouver, B.C., Mary McMahon & Robert
Angers of Richmond B.C., and Jerry &
Isabel) McMahon of Maple Ridge, B.C.
Father-in-law of Colleen McMahon of
Burnaby B.C., and John Garding of
Strathmore, Alberta. Dearly loved
grandfather of 15 grandchildren, and 13
great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Mary
Henry of Tillsonburg. Predeceased by
daughter Sally Garding, son Pete
McMahon, grandson Fraser McMahon,
sister Mary Wellhoff, brothers Paul & Bill
McMahon, sister-in-law Vivian Moir, and
brothers-in-law Braiden, Ellis, and Buddy
Henry. Pat joined the Royal Canadian Navy
Volunteer Reserve on May 27, 1942 in
London, Ontario. He was the recipient of
the 1939 - 1945 Star, Atlantic Star,
Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and
clasp, and the War Medal. Friends were
received at the FALCONER FUNERAL
HOMES, 153 High St., Clinton on
Thursday, July 2. Mass of the Christian
Burial was held at St. Peter's Roman
Catholic Church, 156 North St., Goderich
on Friday, July 3. Parish Prayers were held
at the funeral home Thursday. Legion
Service was held at the funeral home
Thursday evening. Interment Clinton
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial
donations to the Royal Canadian Legion
#140 Clinton Branch or the charity of one's
choice would be appreciated. Condolences

FEAR, Faye - Faye (McDowell) Fear,
formerly of Clinton and Belgrave, passed
away at Huronlea Home for the Aged on
Sunday, June 28th, 2015. Born in England
on April 8th, 1922, Faye was 93 years of
age. Faye was the beloved wife of the late
Ted Fear. Dear mother of Rhonda and
Hugh Love of RR#2 Atwood and Stephan
and Kim Fear of Banff, Alberta. Loving
Nana of 9 grandchildren and 9 great
grandchildren. Also loved by her sister Rita
Robinson of Gibson, British Columbia, her
special nephew Johnny McDowell of Powell
River, British Columbia and her many
nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her
daughter Wendy Nixon, her son Owen
Fear, her brother Bill and sisters Connie,
Kitty, Belle and Pat. According to Faye's
wishes, cremation has taken place. A
private family service will be conducted at
the SCHIMANSKI FAMILY FUNERAL
HOME, Brussels, at a later date. As an
expression of sympathy, memorial
donations may be made to the charity of

CLIFFORD, Hazel (McMichael) - Died
peacefully in her sleep on June 28th in her
100th year. Dear wife of the late Reg
Clifford (1981). Beloved mother of Bert
(Mary Helen) and Ron. Dearly loved
grandmother of Dave, Mike (deceased
1980), Bill and Brenda. She is also survived
by sister Barb and sister-in-law Esther as
well as many nieces and nephews. Hazel is
predeceased by brothers Alex, Charlie and
Ross and sister Grace. Before moving from
her hometown of Clinton in 1983, to
London, she was employed at Kay's
Decorating and served as clerk at the First
Baptist Church for several years. A private
family memorial service will be held at a
later date with interment being held in
Clinton Cemetery. As expressions of
sympathy memorial donations may be
made to a charity of one's choice through
