Look out for Whaling at the Pan Am opening ceremonies Laura Broadley Clinton News Record Allysha Whaling will have her chance to shine on July 10 during the opening ceremo- nies of the Pan Am Games. Whaling is one of 100 chil- dren chosen to be a part of the Cirque du Soleil performance. This isn't the first time Whaling, who is from Clin- ton, has worked with famous circus. Two years ago Whaling had the oppor- tunity to attend a summer camp at the National Circus School in Montreal where she was one of 50 children chosen to attend. There will be a pang of poor Leonard but you are going to love him too. Last Chance Romance now on stage at Huron Country Play- house II is hilarious. Daniela Vlaskaloc is delightfully -disturbed as love struck Myra Witzer. Her nuptial clock is ticking and will stop at nothing to find Mr. Right. Kevin Kruchkywich, as Leonard is lonely and would like to date but is skittish when it comes to getting married. These two actors have terrific chemistry and take the audience through some tense moments laced with hilarious banter. As rationally challenged Myra seemed to be, Susan Henley is as quirky as Myra's outspo- ken, no nonsense mother Florence and therapist Glo- ria. This versatile actress also portrays Leonard nurse. She becomes an audience favourite immediately.
