Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for an exceptional individual, as a: PROPANE SERVICE TECHNICIAN This dynamic individual will be responsible for servicing HDC's propane customers by performing inspections, maintaining propane tanks and equipment in a safe, timely professional, courteous, time sensitive manner. Hours of work will vary depending on season with some weekend hours required at peak harvest time. The candidate would also have to join an on-call rotating schedule. The successful individual must possess a minimum D license (a DZ license would be preferred), clean drivers abstract and minimum Gas Fitters 2nd class certificate, and work in a safety conscious manner. Specific knowledge of the propane and agriculture sector in Huron County is a definite asset. We require an individual with excellent driving skills in all weather conditions, exceptional mechanical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. This position requires the individual to be self -motivated and able to work independently in a team environment.
