It was pointed out that there has been a new addition this year, as a tuba is now part of the band. The evening perfor- mance was standing room only. The feature of the concert was the performance of Elfis and the Frozen Princess, which involved the primary classes rotating through the various acts. The story had the royal family sending out invitations to the Snowflake Festival, how- ever a very upset princess arrived to make it known that she was not happy about not receiving and invitation. She took her revenge by freezing the King and Queen's daughter. Various methods were tried to thaw her, but none were suc- cessful. Some of the liveliest portions of the program involved music selections by Elfis and the Sleighdrivers, with the songs being very familiar to Elvis Presley fans. Eventually the mistake of the invitation being misfiled in the Deleted File Folder was discovered, at which time the Princess removed the freezing spell. The Primary Choir was brought back to fill the front of the auditorium to perform their musical selections. The final performance was a selection of Grade 6, 7 and 8 girls who sang a cappella.
