Travellers, no doubt, will find it easier to commute to their family gatherings and festivities. There have been murmurings at various events that it just does not seem like Christmas without the snow. This has not stopped the resilient local residents and businesses from going ahead with prepara- tions and plans to celebrate this time of year. Those who have experienced past winters in this area are not lulled by the unseasonable weather. It is just a matter of time before winter makes itself known in earnest.
