Church for doubles play. Gary
Preszcator and Cor Vander-
hoven took first place with 41
points and close behind in
second spot with 40 points
was Sam Bradica and Doug
Mills. In third place with a tie
of 33 points were Steve Lefaive
and Kem Pollock and Alec
Ostrom and Joan Beierling. In
fourth place were Clark Forest
and Jack MClachlan with 30
points and in fifth with 29
points were Dave Whyte and
Sjoukje Steenbeek. Members
will meet Dec. 8 for their last
time until January.
The card party was spon-
sored by the Odd Fellows in
Brucefield last Thursday
evening and had eight tables
in play. High man was

The senior boys, Tyler Chuter,
Tyler Colclough, Weston
Rathwell and Dugald McIn-
tosh sang We Three Kings fol-
lowed by the Gospel reading
by Ruby Lefaive. Morgan Col-
clough played the trumpet.
Away in the Manger was sung
by 7 Angels from the junior
class. Why White Gifts was
presented by the senior girts,
Samantha Chuter, Morgan
Colclough, Madison
Haverkamp and Kirsten
McIntosh.
The Sunday school gathered
the white gifts in white baskets.
This was followed by prayer by
Rev. Randy and the Blessing.
The Sunday school presented
Audrey McLennan with a
Christmas gift for all her hard
work and dedication. The Sun-
day school served hot apple
cider and muffins following the
service.
Next Sunday, Dec. 6, the sec-
ond Sunday of Advent, there
will be a congregational meet-
ing following the service.
Don't forget movie night with
Rev. Randy and with the assis-
tance of certain other Christ-
mas elves are planning a family
movie night on Dec. 11 begin-
ning at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Movie style refreshments
will be available. Randy will be
digging a couple of his favourite
movies out of his vault. What
are they? Come and find out.
Both will be totally suitable for
children and adults. Donations
will go to support our mission
and service fund objective.
