The 50th annual Zurich Bean Festival
Zurich Bean Festival volunteer, Matt Groot, ensures the beans are
cooked to perfection. The festival requires about 300 volunteers
to run smoothly. The previous Sunday volunteers the first batch
of hundreds of pounds of dry beans are put in water to soak. The

and baking begins.
