Huron County 4-H 'Go for the Gold' competition 2015
On July 15, 2015, Huron
County 4-H Leaders' Associ-
ation hosted the local Go for
the Gold competition at the
Clinton United Church in
Clinton at 7:30 p.m.
Only three teams partici-
pated. They were Sheep 1 and
Sheep 2, both from the South
Huron Sheep Club and the
Wawanosh Life Skill Club.
Each team played two games
each with the two top scoring
teams playing for the title,
Sheep 1 and Wawanosh.
The team members
answered 4-H related questions
that ranged from baking to

NWMO Learn More Centre
The Municipality of Central Huron is one of several
communities in the early stages of learning about Adaptive
Phased Management (APM), Canada's plan for the safe,
long-term management of used nuclear fuel. The Nuclear
Waste Management Organization is working collaboratively
with the community to advance preliminary assessment
studies.
If you would like to learn about APM, meet NWMO staff,
ask questions or offer your thoughts, please drop in to the
NWMO community office and Learn More Centre in Clinton.

Bluewater hosts Communities
in Bloom judges

Communities in Bloom
judges, Grace Dekker and
Brad Beatty, toured Blue -
water on July 28 and 29.
Over the two days, the
Bluewater Blooms com-
mittee brought Dekker
and Beatty on a tour all
around the municipality.
The tour included a walk
down Hensall's historic
Main Street business dis-
trict, a visit to the yard
waste depot and a stop at
Clan Gregor Square.
The Bluewater program
was established in 2010 by
council, with the second
week in June being
declared "Communities in
Bloom week" last year.
