HomeMy WebLinkAboutClinton News Record, 2015-04-29, Page 1212 News Record • Wednesday, April 29, 2015 Ron Greidanus and the Four Men to perform as St. Andrews On Sunday May 3 at 8 p.m., international concert pianist Ron Greidanus and the Four Men will perform a fundraising concert at St. Andrews United Church in Bayfield. The Four men together with virtuoso Greidanus have come together over the past years to offer inspirational and Christian music that help make the world a better place. The per- formance will include Quartets both acapella and with accom- paniment, solos and Grei- danus' wonderful Finlandia Variations. The Four Men, all hailing from Toronto are committed to advocacy and education of the Mission and Service of The United Church of Canada through fundraising concerts and have raised over $30,000 to date. The Four Men have not only performed con- certs throughout Ontario but completed a five concert tour of the East Coast and Mari- times last spring. Ron Greidanus is no stran- ger to Huron County as he was born and raised on a dairy farm just south of Londesborough. Piano les- sons began at age 11 with local piano icon Gail Lear who formed and crafted the young artist in his early years. Having performed all over Canada and in over 15 European countries both with Orchestra and in solo recital. It is a privi- lege to have this wonderful artist back in the community for this event joined together with these great singers. Tick- ets can be purchased at the Dutch Store in Clinton for $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors and $10 for youth. Tickets can also be purchased on the night of the concert.
