Huron JazzFest fuses 3 county schools

Central Huron Secondary,
F.E. Madill Secondary and
South Huron District High par-
ticipated in a JazzFest last
Thursday. All three schools
gathered at CHSS during the
day to take part in Jazz clinics
taught by two guest musicians.
The schools were split
into two groups for the
clinic portion of the day.
Accomplished woodwind
performer, Barry Usher,
taught the first section. The
second group was taught by
performer, conductor and
clinician, Seth McNall.
Later that night the stu-
dents had the opportunity
to showcase their work over
the school year as well as
what they had been taught
during the day.
