Clinton Hospital Auxiliary
donates $15,000 at
annual general meeting

It was another successful
year for the Clinton Public
Hospital Auxiliary.
The auxiliary held its
annual general meeting on
Tues., April 7.
It was revealed that over
the past three years the
auxiliary has used funds to
donate a number of items
at the hospital.
For example;
• In 2012, 25 bedside
patient tables and vital
signs monitors were
purchased
• In 2013, the auxiliary
helped towards the pur-
chase of coffee and end
tables, a sofa and a loveseat
for the hospital's quiet
room and a two -mattress
patient therapy unit for the
first floor
• Just last year, the pur-
chases were a cystoscope
and two crash carts for
medical areas and a Versac-
are bed, frame adapter
patient helper frame and
patient care trapeze for
surgery
Over the past three years,
the auxiliary has donated
$42,483.59 in equipment to
the hospital.
The funds are raised
through a number of events
held by the auxiliary.
The latest was an Irish
stew held on March 20.
Other upcoming events
include;
• Tag Day onMay l5
• Annual yard sale on May 9
• Hot Dog Days on June 5
and 6
• Annual Penny Sale
Sept. 17 to Sept. 26
• Gift of Lights in Novem-
ber with the lighting cere-
mony to be held Nov. 17
At their AGM, the auxil-
iary presented a cheque of
$15,000 to Clinton Public
Hospital Foundation chair
Janice Cosgrove.
This money will be used
to purchase one oximeter,
one monitor, a spot pole
and cuff, two chairs for the
patient lounge, one lift
patient ceiling with moni-
tor and a headlight/porta-
ble light source for use in
various areas of the
hospital.

At their annual general meeting held on April 7, the Clinton Public
Hospital Auxiliary presented a donation of $15,000 to hospital
foundation chair Janice Cosgrove (centre). Presenting the cheque
were auxiliary past presidents Ann McLean and Linda Dunford.
The Clinton Hospital Auxiliary elected its new executive at the
annual general meeting on April 7. Pictured are (back row, left
