Friday, Saturday and Monday last
.were three of the ueiest days Wingham
hes seen for sour som4 time. The splendid
sleighing brought a number of people to
town to do thelij Christmas shopping
and, with extra as istants, the bueiness
people found it di cult to wait on their
numerous custon4ers, especially was
this the case on Saurclay. In our nearly
nineteen years in Wingham, we never
before seen such a rush at the Wingham
post office as was SY case on Saturday -
The assistants, Maces Fisher, Cummings
and Patterson, doge their work well and
are deserving of be hearty thanks of
people of the to and district. Tho
apartments are so email that it would
almost try the p Plume of Job to do
work in a pleasine way, but Winghem's
past office officials1 have always given ex-

caused by two or gree members of the
one family calli tg for mail matter.
