The club held its annual awards banquet at the Cen- tral Huron Community Complex on Wed., April 1. A potluck dinner was enjoyed as well as door prizes and the award presentations. Franks When Allan met Alice Contributed photo Huron -Bruce federal Liberal candidate Allan Thompson recently shared a photo from a visit with Nobel Bell prize-winning author Alice Munro. Second annual Coffee House coming up at St. Anne's The semester is almost halfway though, and it seems like the time is just flying by! St. Anne's second annual Coffee house will take place on Wed., April 15. The night will be filled with various musical and dramatic acts put on by the students of St. Anne's. Admission is $2 with a mug, and $3 without a mug. All are welcome to attend and enjoy a night of entertainment. The Stuff that Bus Campaign has started and staff and students of St. Anne's have been working to bring in various non-perish- able food items. In sports, as the snow melts, spring ath- letics are coming into frui- tion. Soccer, rugby, and track and field have all started running practices. Hopefully the warm weather keeps up. There was a Prayer Service in the gymnasium on Thurs- day, April 2nd to commence the most important liturgical season of the year, starting with Holy Thursday and ending on Easter Monday. Hopefully everyone was able to enjoy spending this long weekend with their families.
