Singing carols every morning
• Last week was an extreme-
ly busy one at the Vanastra
Public School. Each morning
from 4:00 to 9:30 a carol sing
took place in the auditorium.
The children of the school
had the opportunity to share
the spirit with others in the
community who are less for-
tunate than themselves.
Many of the boys and girls
brought gifts to school and
placed them under our
Christmas tree. These gifts
were later dittributed within
the community so that every-
one would be able to have a
Merry Christmas.
On Tuesday evening a
Christmas Concert was held.
The grade 5/6 class present-
ed Dickens "A Christmas
Carol" to a capacity crowd.
Between acts the crowd was
entertained by the kinder-
garten class. grades 1, 2, 3

like to thank the Conestoga
College -students for their
perseverance while we were
preparing for this concert.
