Santa Claus visited the
Legion on Sunday and got a
rousing welcome from a full
house of children and a few
adults. Prior to his arrival
local talent presented a
delightful show. After Santa
handed out treats to the
children. he travelled to the
hospital and nursing home
with treats for all the shut-ins
It was a very busy day for
Santa and a rewarding day
for all those who took part.
Legion bowling league
held their annual Xmas party
Friday night. The usual gifts,
spot dances, and of course a
delicious meal were on the
agenda. The music was well
accepted by the majority and
a very good evening was had
by all.
Special thanks goes out to
Joan Eaton the league's
sident and her assistants
for making it all possible.
May I wish you all a Merry
