Sunday evening. , Dr. Calvin Gilck • and daughter Susan of Warring- ton P.A. arrived Saturday to visit their family over Christ - 111.1.S. Sunday the Glicks and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scherbarth and family were guests of Mr. and Mrs. August Scher - berth. • Jason and Jonathon Ah- rens of West Hill are holiday- ing at the home of their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Mon Bode. The L.C.W. of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brodhag- en. entertained their hus- bands to a Christmas Dinner f riday evening at the church. The East side provided the dinner. and the west side was in charge of the program which consisted of various skits and musical numbers. Mrs. Herman . Leonhardt and Colleen. Lisa and Diane were guests of Mr. and Mrs.. Richard Leonhardt, Jeff and Kevin of Embro. Sunday. Douglas Murray. who at- tends Lalcehead University at Thunder Bay is spending the holidays with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Steve -Mut - ray, Craig and Dean left Friday on a trip to the States. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Lane, Tim and Debbie Lane and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Lane all of London. Terry Lane. Guelph and Harvey and Marie Mit- chell of Hanover visited with edr. and Mrs. Vincent Lane. Brian Lane, Toronto and Barry Lane of Calgary. Al- berta with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lane. Gordon Moylan. DADb—The Grade 4 and 5 class at St. Patrick's School presented a skit titled The Year Santa Went Wrong at the reeent Christmas concert.'It seems Santa, played by Mark Van Bakel, was really the fajher of the boy, played by Mark CrOnin and the husband of the mother, played by Carolyn Cook and not Santa Claus at all.
