Family honours Mrs. Feeney
Mrs..Martin Feeney, the former Mary
Barry daughter of the late Daniel Barry and
Johanna O'Reilly, was born Dec. 19, 1890.
She celebrated her 90th birthday at a
family dinner at the Royal Hotel, Mitchell.
She has three daughters, Mrs. Leonard
(Marie) Bader, Detinit, Mrs. Otta (Mona)
Kyllonen, Santa Monica and Mrs. Peter
(Ursula) Nekon, Kitchener, six sops
Hubert, Kitchener, Fergtis, Dublin, Carl,
Seaforth, Lorne, Dublin, Martin, Peters-
burg and Victor, Waterloo.
Mrs. Feeney was born aid raised and
lived all her life in Hibbert township. She
now resides with her son and daughter-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Fergus Feeney at R.R. 2
Dublin.
Although in fairly good health, she does
not enjoy the cold weather. She received
birthday congratulations from Hugh Edig-
hoffer, B. Jarvis, Joe Clark, and a plaque
from prime Minister Pierre E. Trudeau.
She was predeceased by her husband in
1977.
She has 35 grandchildren and 20 great
grandchildren.

James Morris. 75, of 107
Brantford St., Seaforth. died
Wednesday at his home. Mr.
Morris. who was born in
Ifibbert Township. had farm-
ed there until moving to
Seaforth in 1952.
Surviving are his wife. the
former Helen Atkinson;
three daughters, Mrs. J.
(Loretta) Moynagh of Toron-
to. Mrs. D. (Mary) Lewis of
Stratford' and Mrs. Robert
(Josephine) Nigh of Egmond-
ville; o'sons. Donald of St.
Catharines and William of
Seaforth and 19 grandchild-
ren. He is also survived by a
brother Frank of Seaforth
and three sisters. Mrs. Em-
mett (Carmel) Malone of
Seaforth. Sister St. Luke of
London and Mrs. Mary Reas
a Detroit. Mr. Morris was
predeceased by one brother.

James Roman Catholic
Church with Rev. J.C. Caru-
ana officiating. Temporary
entombment will be in the
Pioneer Memorial Mausol-

William Smith died at
Huronview Home, Clinton.
on Satufday. December 6,
1980. in his '98th year. Mr.
Smith. formerly from
Exeter, was the dear
father of Mrs. William Haley
(Gladys) and Ray Smith both
of Exeter. Mr. Smith was
predeceased by his wife.
Loretta Bolick and one son,
Cecil. He also is survived by
his one brother George Smith
of Detroit. Mantas Haley of
Seaforth is a grandson.

Hospital.
Born in Seafertlt. he was a
son of the late James John-
son and former Gertrude
Hicknell.
He was a self-employed
truck driver for many years
and was active in the Turf
Club of Seaforth.
Suriving are two sisters,
Mrs. Carl (Dorothy) Feeney,
of Seaforth. and Mrs. Roy
(Angela) Soper, of Goderich;
and two brothers, John M.
and Sylvester P., both of
Waterloo He was pre-
deceased by one brother.
Leo, in 1953.
Friends were received at
the Box Euneral horrie,
Seaforth. Funeral mass was
held 1030 a.m. Saturday at
St. James Roman Catholic
Church when Rev. J.C.
Caruana officiated. Tem-
porary entombment was in
Pioneer Memorial Mausol-
eum.
