lunch held in the beautifully

chufeh hall. Mr. Mildred
Cronin said the .grace and
after everyone had -their fill
of a wide selection of casse-
roles, salads and desserts,
Santa a rived and distributed
gifts, wh'eh she found under
the Chris mas tree to each
lady prese . Santa left and,
Mrs. Angeli Swart, 'pre-
sident, opened the meeting
with the prayer to Our Lady
of Good Counsel and cont-
inued with the business.
Mrs. Mary Moylan read the
minutes, Marion Murray
gave the treasurers' report
and Helen Nolan read the
correspondence which in-
duded a letter from the
Goderich and District Pro
Life Group. This group his
supplied Pro Life books and
kits to five high school
libraries in Huron County.
Seaforth High School has
'accepted these books and
have already incorporated
them into their Health Pro-
gram. Our league has made a
donation towards the cost of
these books.
On Monday. Dec. 8th, the
, feast of the Immaculate
Conception. a mass was
offered for the Respect for
Life.
Mrs. Madeline Murray
offered to purchase a Christ-
mas gift for Fr. Oostveen and
our shut-ins will also receive
a gift at Christmas.
The mystery prize was won
by Hazel Dorsey.
Gordon Moylan visited
with his mother. Mrs. Mary
Moylan.,

Mi. Jones sent his son over
to borrow Mr. Smith's cross -
au saw so he could saw his
pumpkin in half. The boy
came back without the saw
and told his father he would
have to wait till later that
afternoon because Mr. Smith
was only half way through
his potato.
