eerngregation back to the tirst
Christmas. Just as the daily
routine can appear
humdrum, without pride or
hope, so the birth of our
Saviour was apparently a
common place occurrence.
But it brought a great light
and a great hope. God so
!oyes everyone and Jesus
gave Him a supreme per-
sonality. So God comes to us
at Christmas. giving us light
and hope through our
Communion with Him. His
spirit is in us.
Wayne Scotchmer lit the
first Advent candle to re-
present the Primary Sunday
School. The Children's
message was about a light in
the window. A beautiful
anthem "Ave Verum" by
Mozart (Jesus Word of God
incarnate) was sung at the
start of the Communion
seriice. Dr. Ralph Tapp
officiated at the organ and
canducted the choir.
Next Sunday will be White
Gift Sunday and the Sunday
School will present a
Christmas pageant.
