The Mitchell Hawk
erupted for four third period
goals (two of them on the
power play) as they scored a

victory over the Centenaires.
The_game was the .__best.'_
performance by the Centen-
aires so far this season.
The first period saw no
scoring as both goaltenders
(McDonald of the Hawks and
Jim McClure of the
Centenaires) came up with
several dazzling saves. The
Centenaires outshot their
opponents 11-10 and had
several glorious Op-
portunities to score.
In the second frame the
play again was very close
with neither team holding a
wide margin, a play.

goal as he outmustled a
Hawk defender and rifled a

Hawk goalie cleanly.
That was all the scoring in
the period with the Hawks
holding a 12-11 shots on goal
advantage.
The third stanze saw the
Hawks come out strong and

and Centanire Captain Mike

Steve Otto blinked the red
light behind McClure to tie
the score at two.
