SWIM-A-THON 1980 Swim-a-thon 1980 was held at the •Vanastra Recreat- ion Centre Saturday, Nov. 15. Money collected will be used to purchase furnishings and equip ent required to - complete th addition to the centre,which_ is now access- ible to all people. Carmabell of Hensall VANASTRA CURLING CLUB • Last week was a busy week at the curling club starting with the women; curling on Monday afternoon at 1:15, Th men; Monday Night was do attend-anee due to the election but both the 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. draws are reported full. Both the Thursday and Friday mixed curling were well attended also. Saturday night was the first jitney of the year with the ladies bringing pot luck.
