SWIM-A-THON 1980
Swim-a-thon 1980 was
held at the •Vanastra Recreat-
ion Centre Saturday, Nov.
15. Money collected will be
used to purchase furnishings
and equip ent required to -
complete th addition to the
centre,which_ is now access-
ible to all people. The
swimmers were pledged for
the number of widths or
lengths they were able to
swim.

CLUB •
Last week was a busy week
at the curling club starting
with the women; curling on
Monday afternoon at 1:15,
Th men; Monday Night was
do attend-anee due to
the election but both the 7
p.m. and 9 p.m. draws are
reported full. Both the
Thursday and Friday mixed
curling were well attended
also. Saturday night was the
first jitney of the year with
the ladies bringing pot luck.
Don't worry about the blister
and the pulled muscles, this
week should end all the
misery.
