We opened the meeting
_with_ the_ Explorer_pu ose
and sang the Explore song.

the picture.. We all said our
memory work and received
our Stars. We studied Africa.
Mrs. Whyte read us a
story called "Why the Spider
Lives in•Corners" We made
mice rocks for craft.

U.C.W. General meeting
was held November 3rd in
the Sunday School with 15
.present. President Edyth.

and a reading on religion.
The scriptare was read from
Matthew by Betty Nutley.
Edyth led in prayer and read
scriptures Micah 6-61 Luke
14:21, Matthew 5:16.
Business was conducted.
Edyth welcomed all; minutes
of June. Sept.. and October
were read by secretary Joan
Whyte.
Correspondence included
a letter of thanks by Marg-
aret Taylor for the board of
stewards for our donation of
SI000; a letter and report
card from Lam Sue Brogtour
foster child. All A and B s on
card. Thanks from Bob Burns
and Elsie Shaddick.
A dehumidifier was dis-
cussed and it was decided to
leave it for a later date.
Edyth Beacon reported
U.C.W. Regional Rally at
Bayfield on October 6th.
1981 is the year for the
disabled and she read a
questionnaire to be filled in
and sent to Mrs. Mayrrie
Wilkins, Goderin.
Treasurer report was given
by Margaret Good. Writing
to the foster child in Novem-
ber is Margaret Whyte and
in December. Alice David-
son. There will be boxes set
in the church for the used
stamp.
Annual reports were given
for funeral, lunches by Mary
Longman, for socials Betty
Hulley noted more were
coming up in November and
