financial risk. A wise bor-

maximum credit line. A re-
serve of unused credit line

STILL PROBLEMS
Even with these Programs'
the ministerssaid the govern-
ment still has a number 9f
areas to tackle, One prOblem
is farm size,and he said the
government still has to ad-
dress the issue of farm
ownership. While non-resi-
dent ownership has .been
studied, , and legislation
passed, there are still people
speculating in farmland. fie
added the government also
plans to ask for legislation of
the use of farmland.
Mr. MacMurchy was
iiked what the .age limits
were for farmers involved in
the program. He said there's
no age cutoff, since a point
system is used to decide
who's most qualified for the
programs -and age is one of
the factors in totalling points.
He said, there' is a good
deal of competition for Land
Bank farms and that there

is happy and .19 guys are
mad!" The -minister added
there is an appeal mechan-
ism built in to the ,procedure
but added even with that.
