The Pens skated to a morale boosting 5-3 triumph over a .short-handed Bruin club. The win also helped prove that the league is veri close this year with only four points separating the last place Penguins and the front runners. Peter IWartene paced the winners' attack by scoring two goals. Single scores went to Gard O'Dwyer, Jim Mc- Leod and Dave Lengstaff.
