SHORT STATEMENT OF THE REASONS
FORTHE PROPOSED DESIGNATION
CARDNQ BLOCK -The two storey buff,
brick building, L'built in 1877 has a
di, itinctive mansard roof with a clock
tower, which stands 68 feet high, making it
a major landmark. The exterior cladding of
the mansard roof and clock tower is slate
tile.- -The -second floor facade has- seven
Romanesque/ ltalianate styled windows,
There are five small Tund,windows on the
Mansard roof including one on the clock
tower.
Notice of objection to ,the designation,
may be served on the Clerk within thirty
days of the 23rd day of October, ,1980.
