mean about $800 was cleared
on the concert, held in the
SDHS auditorium.
Mr. Carroll 'said attend-
ance ut the event was be-
tween 350 to 400 people,
down slightly from atten-
dance at the flat jamboree
held in the spring.
• Despite a drop in attend-
ance, Mr. Cairo ll said "it
was.. certainly, a worthwhile
day." fie said the foundation
will likely choose one time
during the year for the event,
and make it an annual occur-
rence.
Van Egfriond Foundation

food booth at the jamboree,
and served meals to over 200
people.
Aiso, the foundation ran
two bus tours from the high
school to the Van Egmond
House. About 20 people went
on the guided tours of the

,The next major event plan-
ned by the Van Egmond
Foundation is the Sinfonia
rt on -Feb -;-1-7; Sinfoula,
members of the Liindon Sym-
phony Orchestra, willbe
presenting an evening con-
cert of music developed to
interest people in the com-
munity, Mr. Carroll saidjle
said the 'concert will feature
light music, and some pops
selections, rather than heavy
classical music.
The tickets for the concert
will be -available this week
from Van Egmond Founda-
tion members and at La-
rone's and the Huron Expos-
itor.

idea which has been sug-
gested is holding a potluck
