day October 28th with prizes
for the best costumes.
GUIDES
The Tenderfeet were
taught the requirements for
investment and the other
girls worked on their Voyag-
er and Adventure Challenges
Due to lack of participation
the guides will not put any
crafts in the Christmas Ba-
zaar on, November 22nd.
However, since this is one of
the few events we can raise
money at sve are asking all
Guides and mothers to sub-
mit an item for a bake table
In the bazaar. The District
bake sale is Saturday Oct-
ober 25th at the Clinton
Town Hall at 10 a.m. AP
Guides. Brownies. Pathfind-
ers are to submit 2 items of
baking for this sale. Proceeds
go towards purchasing camp-
ing equipment which is. a
desparate need. The Path -
the future. Meetings are now
taking ptace at Carol: Mc
Ilyeen's or Marion Hohrner's
house.

VANASTRA PUBLIC
SCHOOL
For several weeks now
about three dozen young
people from the Vanastra
Public School have been
training for our Cross Coun-
try Team. On Wednesday.
'Mr. Nicholls took this team
to. the Area Tournament at
the Hullett Conservation
Area.
Members were: Darryl Di-
xon. Benny Bjerg. Colin
Thomas, Shawn Kyle, Shawn
Dixoo. Shawn Sante Gclok.
Tuckersmith Nursery
On Thursday, October
30th the Tuckersmith Day
nursery is having an Open
House from 6:30 • 8:30 p.m.
It is hoped that all parents
and children can make it.
Rooms will be decorated with
Halloween crafts the children
have made. They will be
eager to show mom and dad
what we do all day. Everyone

YOUTH NIGHT
There were between 40
and 50 youths 8 years of age -
and up attend the first Youth
Activity Night. It was a
sorring success with 3 spot
dances won by Penny Lewis.
