Church service in Carmel
Presbyterian Church will be
at 1:30 p.m .on Sunday,
October 26th due to the time
change. A "Ladies" day is
planned and a luncheon will
be served at 12 noon. Every-
one is coridally invited to
attend when a ladies ' choir
is presenting special music
and the guest • speaker is

A trip last summer to
Oberammergau to see .the
Passion Play was described
by Grace • Drummond to
members of Unit two of
Hensall United Church at
their October meeting
Thanksgiving evening. Grace
described this as a profound,
religious experience and the
setting of the beautiful
village in the Alpine
was "Thankfulness". She
opened with a poem "We are
grateful for our blessings-.
Offering was received by.
hostess Ruby Finlayson and
dedicated.
Mildred McGregor
discussed a film "Religions
practises in Japan". Visitors
and Sunshine reporting was
given by Grace Cooper;
plans were finalized for the
Nov. 12 Supper.A nominating
committee of Helen McLean.

to make a complete recovery.

Special music added much
beauty to the service. The
choir anthem was "Eternal
Life Will be Yours". A group;
of five girls sang "What
Color is God's Skin?" and
the intermediate choir
number was "Thy Loving
Kindness". A double trio
sang "Keep in Touch Every
Day".
