Blanchard of Winthrop Were marriedin Northside United
Church oti, Sept. 13. Rev. James Van Slyke officiated at the
double ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by
her uncle, Doug Jones of Brucefield. The matron of honour
was Mrs. Cindy Young of R.R. 5, Clinton and the
bridesmaids were Mrs. Shelly McMillan of R.R. 5,
• Seaforth, sister of the bride and Mrs. Susan Blanchard, of
Vanastra, sister -la -law of the groom. The flower girls were
Kerry Stanley of R.R. 5, Seaforth, the bride's niece and
Kim Embling of Vanastra, the groom's niece. The
ringbearer was Kevin Jones of Brumfield, the bride's
cousin. The groomsman was John Blanchard of Vanastra
and the ushers were Lonny Blanchard of Stratford and
Stanley McClure of Walton. Music for the wedding was
provided by Graeme Craig, who .accompanied himself on
the guitar. Following the wedding, a reception was held at
The White Carnation, Holmesville, Guests attended from "
Stratford, London, Tofonto and Detroit. Following the *
wedding, the couple honey mooned in Eastern Ontario and
Montrealibeforetaking up residence -in their -new home in
Winthrop.

Linda Marlene Bell and Daniel Wayne •Crerar were
united in -marriage at -Carmel Presbyterian Church,
on September 13, 1980. The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Bell, R.R. #2 Kippen. The
groom is the son of Mr. -atid Mrs. Allan Crerar R.R. #2
Hensall. Officiating at the cererhony was Rev. K. Knight.
Mary Moffatt played the organ and- solos were sung by
Betty Beer. The maid of honour was Barb Doig,
Egmondville, and bridesmaids were Sandra Wilson,
London, Joaane Bell, Russeldale and Beth Jennison, Pdrt
Franks, The best man was Rick Ingram, Hensall, and the
ushers were Jamie Cardwell, Kippen, Alan Bell, Kippen,
and Paul Jeffery, Hensel!. After a honeymoon to NortKoin
Ontario, the couple are residing at 91 Oxford St. Hensall. -

The Regional Rally for the
East Huron United Church
Women was held in Bayfield,
October 6. One hundred and
twenty five ladies attend
born theregion, Theevening
began with a social hour and
the ladies browsed through
the literature display arrang-
ed by Mrs. -Leila Finkbeiner
of Exeter, assisted by Mrs.
Charles Reid of Varna.
The President of the
region, Mrs. Bruce Keys,
opened the program which
took the form of a television
program. Guests were wel-
comed by Mrs. Frank Burch.
Bayfield. Mrs. Cecil Elliott
gave the commercials. Each
group made a poster on the
theme God is so Good. News
time brought to light activi-
ties of several of the groups.

ville had completely redecor-
ated their churches and
others have done work on
their churches and. manses.
Taking part in music were
Molly Cox and Heather Lind-
say of Bayfield and Doris
McKinley and Marjorie Hay-
ter of Goshen.

She urged ladies to partici-
pate in the Seeds of Zaire
project. Seeds that grow well
there are purchased in Cali-
fornia and shipped to Zaire
where people can prciduce
food for themselves. - '
Mrs. Wm. Hanly of Goder-
ich presbyterial treasurer,
presented the budget and
gave the financial statement
to date.

A vesper service was con-
ducted by Marg Robinson, of
Goshen and Jean Rathwell

Brucefield. Molly Cox
accompanied Heather Lind-
