Hensall #2 4-H club met , good attendance. The Pre-
sident Mrs. McAllister of
Septernber 30th at Hensall :Auburn conducted the;
United Church.
: GIVING MEETING
The W.M.S. of Carmel
Presbyterian Church held its
Thanksgiving meeting on
Monday evening with Mrs.
Robert M. Bell in charge of
the Devotional. Mrs. E.
Rannie read a passage of
Scripture "Always Give
Thanks To Our Lord and
Saviour" and Mrs. Alex
McGregor read a passage
containing the words "Dear
God We Thank Thee". Mrs.
Robert Bell gave message on
"Thanksgiving" and led in
prayer. The President Mrs.
Harvey. Hyde gave a Thanks-
giving poem. The Glad
Tiding subscription are now
due.
An invitation was received
from the Senior W.M.S. and
Barbara Kirkman Auxiliary
in Seaford' for, their Fall
Thank -Offering on Oct. 16th
at 2 p.m. the visiting
committee for October are
Mrs. Skea and Mrs. Wm:
Bell. The Annual Baiaar will
be held November 1st at 3
p.m. Mrs. Hyde closed the3
meeting with the
Benediction.
Mrs. Al Hoggarth pre-
sided for the meeting of the
speaker, and a ladies choir
will provide music, The
Annual Bazaar will be held
on Saturday, November 1 at
3 p.m. The next meeting will
be held on November 3.

HAVE A BAZAAR
The Chiselhurst U.C.W.
met October 7 in the school-
room of the Church. The
President Mrs. Mary
Brintnell read a poem "Bless
This Home". Vera Ross con-
ducted the Thanksgiving
worship.
Dorothy Brintnell read
"Counting Our Blessings at
Thanksgiving". The annual
Bazar will be held
Wednesday, October 29th at
3 p.m. in the church school-
room, members were as-
signed their various duties
for the afternoon. Helen
Roberts had the study "To
Be a Christian in Japan" 4bd
showed a souvenir brought
back from Japan by her
cousin, a Missionary to that
country for 27 years. Mrs. E.
Kinsman gave a reading
entitled "Joy" by Mother
Teresa. Dorothy Brintnell
and Shirley Kerslake served
lunch.
