A bus load of 30 p- upils
from Barging Memorial High
School in Alliston spent Sept-
ember 25 in North Huron
looking at erosion control and
water management in the
MaitIvid Conservation
Authority area. They visited
the Belgrave Creek . area,
Colborne Township, and
Norman Alexander's land
and water management
demonstration in Londes-
boro.
GRADUATION,
Convocation exercises
for the students of 79-80
classes were held Saturday
Sept. 27 at the new Sports
Complex at Conestoga
College, Doon Campus.
Among the graduates was
Larry Carter, graduating in
Business Administration
accounting.
Those attending his grad-
uation were Mr. and Mrs.
Glen Carter and Colleen, -
grandparents Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Armstrong and M.
George Carter, Londesboro.
Mrs. Cathy Johnston, Lon-
don. After graduation a
reception was held at the
college. Larry is employed by
the Steel Co. of Canada
- (Stelco) at their new plant in
Nan ticoke, near Simcoe.
While working he will also
continue his studies to obtain
an R.T.A. (Registered
Industrial Acc't) degree.

,Expedition #1 of Landes-
boro Explorers was held on
Sept. 25, The meeting was
opened with the Explorer,
song. Darlene Hulley did the
picture.
Elections for the half year
were, Chief Explorer -Jenni-

Darlene Hulley, Keeper of
TreaSurer-Sandy Merner. All
the announcements were
discussed the girls were also
informed about their memory
