We have been very busy
this past week exploring the
theme of Indians. The child-

strips and then threaded
them for necklaces. They
allmade Indian drums out of
plastic on cigarette tins;
Indian costumes from burlap
sacks and headbands. Miss
Norris brought in some rocks
that Indians used as tools.
Jeff showed us his Indian
feather headband.
Friday afternoon all the
children dressed up in their
costume- and had a parade
followed by popcorn and
juice. Swimming lessons
start again this week and the
children are looking forward
