the Turfers,* Jack Malwain
turned in his usual fine
defensive performance,
assisting in six put-outs.
The Turfers broke up a
scoreless pitching duel
between Deng Bach and Etts
DelVecchio in the bottom of ,
the fourth inning. The Turf
Club exploded for eight hits
in a row to blow the game
wide open. The Turfers
‘^threatened again in the sixth,
loading the bases with three
singles, but fine fielding bY

five hitter for the Turfers as
he struck out eight Teacher
batters. The Teachers never
managed to get more than
one runner on base at any
one time. Doug Bach, with
the exception of the fourth

Motocross action is re-
turning to Hully Gully this
Sunday, Sept. 28 with the
Ontario Junior and School-
boy Championships. The
event, sponsored by Di -Ger
International, will feature the
best young riders from all
across Ontario battling it out
for close to 55.000 in prizes
and awards. A group of
senior and expert riders will
make up the support class for
this weekend's event.
As an added benefit,
spectators who attend the
Sunday race, and complete a
"Rider of the Year" ballot.

and to discuss fees for the

It was decided that the
registration fee for the 1980-
81 season be set at 575.00. Of
that amount, 515.00 will be a
deposit on a sweater, of
, which $10,00 will be returned
to the player at the end of the
year. •
The IHL is looking for 72
players to complete the six
team league. The league will
be open to all but if more
than 72 players register, then
the following rules will
apply. The first players eli-
gible will be Seaforth and.
area residents. If there are
still openings then players
who have Played in the
league before will be
eli-
gible. If there are still
openings then former Sea -
forth and area residents will
be allowed to play. After this
point any player who wishes
to play will be allowed to
round out the 72 player limit.
All interested players must
register before Monday,
September 29. Players may
register at the Seaforth
Reddi Chef ' and at least
545.00 of the 575.00 regi-
stration fee is payable at that
time. If your fee is paid in
two installments, then the
remaining 530 is due De-
mmber 5.
