For the Turfers,* Jack Malwain turned in his usual fine defensive performance, assisting in six put-outs. The Turfers broke up a scoreless pitching duel between Deng Bach and Etts DelVecchio in the bottom of , the fourth inning. The Turf Club exploded for eight hits in a row to blow the game wide open. The Turfers ‘^threatened again in the sixth, loading the bases with three singles, but fine fielding bY Teachers held the -Turf Club scoreless that inning. - Ens DelVecchio threw a five hitter for the Turfers as he struck out eight Teacher batters. The Teachers never managed to get more than one runner on base at any one time.
