premiums are down slightly
for the coming year. •
Council al.so received a
report from the public works
onnonittee on hiring an oper-
ator for the Seaforth works
department.
Five applicants were inter-
viewed for the position, and
the ooramittee recommended
that Joseph Nigh of Louisa
Street, Seaforth. be hired for
the job.
Council accepted the re-
cntrimendation. Mr. Nigh's
starting salary will be S5.17
hourly. Following a success-
ful three month probation. he.
will be eligible for promatian
to a level one operator. and a
salary of S5.38 hourly.
