self with guitar.
The topic on Stewardship,
"It's a piece of cake" was
•presented with Viola ,Kirkly,
giving the commentary and
with Leona McDonald taking
the part of Mrs. Right; Edith
Wey was Mrs. Wrong,
Marilyn McDonald, caller
from the church, Audrey
Hackwelli the, landlord;
Maxine Marks from the

A very pleasing song was

Mrs. Ken McDonald gave
the financial report and told
what had been done at the
Manse.
Mrs. Doti McDonald
reported more help was
' needed to repair the front
veranda at the manse and the
furnace in church is to be
replaced in the near future.
It was decided to change
the date of the evening of
Gospel Music with . Reed
Sellwood singers to Sunday.
October 5 at 7:30 p.m.. due
to the Anniversary service at
Brussels United Church.

Plans were made for lunch
to be servedafter the
morning service for their
Anpiyersary on September
21 with the Rev. Dr. Hazle-
wood, Brussels, as guest
speaker. Walton Unit are
responsbile for flowers in the
church.
It was moved to subscribe
to the Observer again for.the
family plan.
Mrs: Graeme Craig and
month. A fall bale will be
packed, artieles t� be left in
the Church basement no later
than -October 19.

barbecue at the home of Bill

twp. for a get together in
honor of Ted. . and Mae
Crawford from Manitor,
Manitoba.

were their aunt, Laura
Saundercock, cousins Cliff
and Kay Saundercock. Bert,
Dora, Gordon,. Darlene and
Diana Shobbrook, also Bill,
Irene, Cheryl and Lou Brom-
ley. Others were present
from London, Carlon, Clinton
Blyth and Wingharn.
A guess on the weight of a
pig was won by Darlene
Shobbrook.
Marlene and Mary Vivian
of Toronto spent the holiday
weekend with their mother
and visited their father in
Clinton Public hospital. Mr.
Vivian was transferred- to
University Hospital, London
on Wednesday Sept. 3rd.
